... And Goes On... and... On...

2007. Things are still looking a bit bleak. Had a short-term contract which ended just after Christmas. Oh boy! Nice time to lose a job, no matter what the reason, be it budget cuts or whatever. I do, however, have some hope, a few positions matching my skillsets popped up on Monster today, late, but today. Hopefully something will come of those leads... I am ...optimistic.

Divorce is final. As of December 27, I am once again single...well...sorta... not "on the market" so don't anyone get any ideas. *chuckle* And, yes, this means you, but will remain nameless.

The Holidays were actually quite nice. Christmas & New Year's were spent with supportive friends and New Year's was especially pleasant, watched all 3 Lord of the Rings Extended versions. Got some sleep too! It was nice, but glad they are behind us for another year.

Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers this coming year... most importantly the coming weeks as I'm hoping for success finally. They say 7 is a "lucky" number, perhaps this will be mine?
