WTF????

Here's something to ponder. My neighbor and I put our homes on the market at nearly the same time. She's asking 10G's more than me and actually had the unmittigated gall to tell me to raise mine!!! Perhaps had she asked something like "Why not raise your price closer to my price?" Instead she just says, "Raise it!" Not bloody likely. Sorry, but I intend to SELL my home, not sit in it for a year hoping someone makes an offer. Sure thing, Lady, I'll raise my asking price and we can live in "perfect harmony" (Sung to the tune of Jackson's & McCartney's "Ebony & Ivory")*chuckle* Why raise the asking price of my competitively priced home just to suit her needs?

At any rate, we both placed flyers in the bins hanging on the For Sale signs in front of our homes. Less than one day later, ALL of my flyers are gone but there is still a stack in hers. Hmm... Methinks somethings amiss, Watson! We replace them only to have ALL of them gone the very next day while her's are still intact. Pictured below are our two signs.

<<< Ours
Simple yet to the point. Flyers
were added after this picture was taken, that's
why the bin is empty.

Hers: >>
Busy!!! When they add flyers, ours "mysteriously" disappear and have daily since then.

Sound strange or are we merely victims of children being brats? Odd since only ours are being pilfered. One of these days, we'll catch them in the act. To be honest, it seems to me like her realtor is sour-grapes over the fact that we would not #1, list with him, and/or #2, asking 10,000 less than she is, despite market.

Traditionally Superbowl Sunday was the last Sunday of January. Now, it's the first of February! WTF??? Why change something that works? *chuckle* Did it just drift off to a later date? When did the NFL make this change? If memory serves, I believe last year it was the same. But prior to that, I'm SURE it was on the last Sunday of January. Somebody PLEASE shed some light on this for me? Not that it is a big deal... but WTF, dude? hehe.

With Superbowl XL coming up, (wait a sec here... does that mean Superbowl eXtra Long or Large or something? *chuckle*) one realizes, January is nearly over with and February is coming very close. Then it'll be March, April (my son will be 13!!!) and before you know it, it's Christmas again!! When's it going to SLOW down??? Doesn't it seem like just yesterday we were ringing in the New Year? WTF???

Earlier this school year, my son complains the bus driver has the radio cranked up so loudly that he cannot even hear himself think. Not only is it loud, but music he despises, cRAP!! Recently, he came home reporting that the bus driver said "Some parent called and complained now we can't have music." So, what happens next? students bring THEIR radios and it's Radio Wars on the bus. But does the driver do anything about it? Nope. WTF???

Then GAS PRICES!!! Around Christmas, for a gallon of Regular Unleaded, prices dropped to nearly $2/gal. Now it's back up to $2.50 and coninues to rise. There have been no reports of disasters or any reason why, just is. WTF's up with THAT??

WTF? ;)
