"39 And Holding!"

I believe it was Jack Benny who coined that phrase! But I will never tell EXACTLY how old I am. September 1 was my Birthday. The nuts at work decorated my cubicle with Thomas the Steam Engine, in reference to my Model Railroading hobby. However, I did feel like 7 again, a little anyway. *chuckle*

Wife cracked me up with a gift that we both could use. Since she's into dragonflies, apparently she has been wanting these cool mugs with the little insect stenciled on the side. So, that was what she bought me! LOL! Hmmm... a sly way to get something SHE wants but we can "share" them. Slick, real slick! hehehe.

Plans for this weekend: NOTHING! Yep, that's it, NOTHING. Just sit around and relax. Hope all who reads this has a safe and enjoyable Holiday. Stay sober, stay alive! :)

I'm Back!

Back from AZ. Mom's OK for NOW. Back to work tomorrow... UGH! But, the great thing is, work 3 days, then a 3-Day Weekend!!!

While in AZ, took a break from Ma and went to visit a couple of friends in Mesa. While waiting for one to finish church, we visited the Confederate Air Force Museum. Fantastic displays of vintage planes and WWII memorabilia. Pictures to come soon.
