Petroglyphs

pet·ro·glyph -n.
A carving or line drawing on rock, especially one made by prehistoric people.

Last weekend, we went to Sloan Canyon, inside of which is Petroglyph Canyon. In order to get there, you must off-road for about 2 miles. Since I'd just put new wheels and all-terrain tires on my truck, this would prove to be a good test!
Pictures taken where Wilderness Area began, where no motorized vehicles were permitted beyond this point. So, we could drive no further and had to walk the rest of the way.

The hike was great. Some photos taken in what was reportedly Sacred Ground of the Anasazi. With the breeze that was blowing, one would swear to hear voices.
