New Toy!!
Just before my birthday, I finally got into one of the new F-150's! One of the last '05 models. Since the lease was about up on my '03, I thought, "why not?" Although I've leased my 3 previous trucks, it was time to make a purchase. This rides like a dream! Everything Ford touts this truck to be is true. Much more spacious, smoother ride, tighter turning radius and more. Ripped out the stock CD-stereo and installed a Panasonic AM/FM, MP3/WMA, XM-Radio ready unit. And that's only the beginning!
I've been a Ford Man all my life, even my first vehicle was a Ford F100, model replica pictured below. Unfortunately, I had no pictures of the original vehicle, so this will have to do for now unless I can find something more closely matching the one I had. Even learned in it, too! So, I guess you could say "it's in my blood," but truth be told, I've had fewer problems with Ford Trucks than any other vehicle. In fact, not one single issue with my last one. I'd highly recommend a Ford, if you've ever wanted one, now is the time. Don't really recommend their cars tho... I think the Ford Motor Company should stick to what they do best, building tough trucks.
It's really spacious inside, feels like a car almost, but higher up. My son has plenty of room in the back with the crew cab. No hesitation on accelleration when running A/C full blast with these V-8's! Sound system is fantastic and it's a lot of fun to drive. Came with a full towing package, too! Center console is so HUGE you can get lost in it!
